Yaesu FTX-1 Optima MLOK Cage

Description

This aftermarket cage fit the factory holes on a Yaesu FTX-1 Optima UHF/VHF/HF radio and provide some protection against drops. They also feature slots designed to the MLOK standard which allows for a multitude of accessories available in our store.

These cages are built for the outdoors and we use one personally for POTA ops. They are very modular with our variety of attachments. Each cage is a 24hr print with over half a spool of filament, that’s just over 1lb each. They are not printed flimsy and hollow, they are solid! The rear of the cage protrudes far enough beyond the radio to protect the antenna connections if you’re using a right-angle PL-259 as sold in our store. Additionally the feet are still usable.

Notes: The ports on the side are still accessible with the cage mounted.
