End-Fed Half Wave (EFHW) 40M

Description

This is our take on an End Fed Half Wave with built in wire winder. This is built for portable use, to be thrown in a bag or box, carried around in a vehicle to your nearest POTA Park, or hiked to a SOTA Summit.

Customizable

Now it’s customizable! Pick your winder, heat shrink, and wire colors. Build it just how you want it. Even go patriotic (Red, White, and Blue)!

Engineering

This EFHW is overbuilt in every way. It has space to handle wire cut for 80M if you choose. The toroid is an FT240 and will easily handle 200 watts SSB or even 100 watts digital while in the field. Even though this is not meant to be installed permanently outdoors we still use stainless hardware.
